Consultation sessions are helpful for families who have just received a diagnosis for their child and would like assistance in figuring out what what all of this means for their family. These sessions can also assist families in navigating the school and/or medical system.  An initial consultation session will help you to identify the current concerns you wish to address, and you will come away with a plan that you can implement in order to achieve your goals. The recommendations you receive will be tailored to meet the needs of your child and your family. In addition to educational recommendations, Mary is able to provide information and direction for parents in choosing appropriate complementary and alternative treatments.  

Ongoing consultation sessions are available to provide guidance and education. As a NY State certified School Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor, Mary has worked within the school and medical systems for more than 25 years. Combining these experiences with her skills in complementary and alternative healing approaches, Mary is able to provide a unique and valuable perspective. 

Within your sessions, you may choose to learn stress reduction strategies such as breathing and meditation techniques, guided imagery, or the use of subtle energy balancing techniques. Sessions will be guided from the framework of parenting as a spiritual journey, which will help you bring clarity and insight into your relationship with your child, and offer you the opportunity to shift to a new level of inspired parenting. Consultations can be scheduled in the office or by phone.
